Lillie Square is a contemporary residential development in the heart of London’s prestigious Kensington and Chelsea district. It features a broad range of luxury homes and duplex apartments set across a number of low-rise mansion blocks, drawing on the heritage of West London in its architectural design.
Northern Switchgear was once again commissioned by CD Engineering Services and alongside main contractor, Wates Construction, to design, build and install LVAC switchgear for the development. As with previous similar residential projects, the specifications required the electrical switchboards to be housed in the basement of the development. We drew on our experience of similar projects to find a solution that met the project brief whilst producing work to an extremely high standard. The switchboards were designed and built by our team of experts at our South Tyneside based headquarters, before being transported to their final destination in central London where we were responsible for manoeuvring them safely into position. Lillie Square is one of several large-scale residential developments that we have been involved in over recent months and is the latest in a number of projects in which we have worked alongside CD Engineering and Wates Construction.
Having worked with Northern Switchgear on previous residential projects, we knew we could rely on them to develop a suitable solution to match the project brief. They have become a trusted partner and we look forward to working with them on future projects.
