What is your role at Northern Switchgear?
I am Northern Switchgear’s Receptionist and Office Assistant. This involves assisting with quotation and contract file creation as well as configuring operating and maintenance manuals. I am also NSG’s Accounts Administrator, so am responsible for managing invoices and raising sales orders.
What is your career background and how did you come to work at NSG?
I have worked in a range of administration, receptionist and accounts roles for nearly 10 years prior to joining the Northern Switchgear team.
Tell us a bit more about what you do in your spare time by describing your perfect day off…
My perfect day off would be a sunny day at the beach followed by a nice meal out.
Where would you most like to travel to and why?
The Maldives. It’s a beautiful place which might not be here much longer because of rising sea levels.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I used to want to work with animals, so hoped to be a vet or a dog walker.
What do you enjoy most about working at Northern Switchgear?
I enjoy being part of the team and helping towards company goals.
